Arkansas River at Nathrop:
The Arkansas River is flowing at 2160cfs. The flow rates are a little high but you can onto the river's edges. I went to the river on Thursday the 10th of July and the water is clearing up very nicely. Fish were feeding along the edges, BH pheasant tail size 16-22, Flash back BH pheasant tail size 16-22, Copper John's #14-20, Wooley bugger #8-12 Al's bugger's are the best on the river (sold at the shop) but Cone Head Green flash size 10-12 will work just fine. Parachute Adams #14-18, Orange / Yellow Stimulator's #10-14, Dave's Hoppers #12-16
Arkansas River at Granite:
The Arkansas River here is running at 1960cfs. BH Flashback Pheasant Tails size 14-20, Flashback Pheasant Tails size 14-20, Copper Johns size 14-20, Black Beauty size 16-20, Pharachute Adams size 14-16, Orange, Green Stimulator's size 12-14, Dave's Hoppers #12-16
Clear Creek River near Lawson: river is running at 494cfs. The river is high and fast. Fish still can be taken but work the outer edges and stay out of the deeper holes. BH flashback pheasant tails size 16-22, BH prince nymphs size 16-22, Parachuteo adams size 14-18, Orange / Yellow Stimulator's #12-16
Clear Creek above Georgetown lake: river is running at 237cfs and the reports are the same on flies to us around Lawson. The water flow rates are not bad so use the same flies that are good on the lower section of the river. Flies at are being used at Lawson will work on the creek above Georgetown.
The Blue River near Dillion: the Blue is running around 774cfs. Mysis Shrimp size 14-20, scuds size 12-16, Flashback pheasant tails and BH both in sizes 14-20, buckskin nymph's size 14-20, copper johns size 14-20, Disco Midges size 16-18, Parachute Adams size 14-18, stimulator's all colors size 12-16, Buggers (Al's specials are the best) green with some flash will work size 10-14
The Williams Fork River: Flow is 436cfs, Pheasant Tail nymph's size 14-20, Disco midges size 16-20, Yellow Sally size 14-20, Brown and Black Stone Flies size 10-16, Parachute Adams size 14-20, Orange and Green Stimulator's size 10-16, Bugger's size 10-14
